This level 1 class is for absolute beginners or people who studied years ago and need to brush up on the basics. Together, we'll cover:

  • pronunciation and syntax
  • talking about the present and near future
  • basic grammar including articles, gender, adjective agreement, and more

Each lesson also includes conversation practice related to real-life situations such as introductions and small talk, talking about daily activities and upcoming plans, and ordering in a restaurant.

Roberto De Fina is a native of Cuba with 20 years' experience teaching Spanish at colleges in New York.

About our classes

Class size is limited to 12 students. Classes sell out fast, and availability is first-come, first-served.

There are no make-up classes. You will receive a syllabus so you can keep up if you have to miss a class.
